Se publicará un libro de partituras oficial de Joe Satriani

Joe Satriani es uno de los mejores guitarristas del mundo. No solo lo deja claro en sus discos sino también en cada uno de sus conciertos, donde demuestra que es el hechicero del rock.

Por ello, si buscamos por la red es frecuente encontrar a guitarristas que pretenden imitar a su ídolo, numerosos libros de tablaturas y partituras de sus canciones y alternativas como las del programa Guitar Pro. Según hemos podido saber, Cherry Lane Music publicará un libro de partituras oficial del artista el próximo 30 de marzo. Se llamará Play It Like It Is y se basará en la última obra de estudio de Satriani, Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards.

Se trata de una transcripción muy fiel, nota por nota, de lo que Joe Satriani interpreta con su guitarra en sus canciones. Costará casi 16 dólares  y por el momento solo se ha anunciado una versión en formato físico que se pondrá a la venta en Amazon. Estaría bien que se comercializase también digitalmente y que se aclarase si incluye solo las partituras o las tablaturas.

Luego de que Radiohead lanzara el mes pasado su más reciente disco The King of Limbs, han anunciado que lanzarán un periódico.

Esta publicación servirá de apoyo al álbum y estará disponible a partir del 28 de marzo en Europa y el 29 en Norteamérica. Se titulará "The Universal Sigh" y será publicado en edición limitada en Grecia y Polonia, donde además de distribruirlo se tomarán fotografías que se lanzarán posteriormente en el sitio www.theuniversalsigh.com
