Korn lanzará Album el 5 de diciembre
29/09/2011 - Korn han anunciado que su nuevo trabajo llevará por título "The Path Of Totality" y se pondrá a la venta el próximo 5 de diciembre a través de Roadrunner Records
.El grupo ya lanzó el sencillo 'Get Up', producido por Skrillex. Para el disco trabajó también con los productores Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Kill the Noise y 12th Planet.
Aún no está confirmada la lista de canciones, sin embargo, las piezas que estarán definitivamente son, según el sitio NME.com, 'Narcissistic Cannibal', 'Burn the Obedient', 'Illuminati', 'Kill Mercy Within' y 'Chaos Lives in Everything'.
Korn confirmó a NME.com en el verano que el disco será completamente del género dubstep. El bajista Fieldy dijo que el vocalista Jonathan Davis convenció a la banda para hacerlo. "Jonathan lo ama (al género dubstep) y nos introdujo en esto", manifestó.
Davis comentó también que el título del disco fue inspiración de un eclipse solar. "El título 'The Path of Totality 'se refiere al hecho de que para ver el eclipse total del Sol se debe estar en el lugar y tiempo exactos. Así fue como este álbum llegó. Pienso que todos los productores sienten lo mismo. No sé si pueda volver a ocurrir", indicó.

Integrantes de Korn y Faith No More Crean una nueva banda
Integrantes de Korn y Faith No More han formado un nueva nueva banda llamada Fear and the Nervous System. La banda está integrada por el guitarrista James ‘Munky’ Shaffer (Korn), el bajista Billy Gould (Faith No More), el cantante Steve Krolikowski (Repeater), el baterista Brooks Wackerman (Bad Religion), Leopold Ross en la guitarra y Zack Baird en los teclados.
Al respecto, Shaffer, uno de los co-fundadores del grupo dijo: “Empecé este proyecto porque quería expresarme musicalmente y mostrarle al mundo un distinto lado creativo”.
Hasta ahora no han dicho una fecha exacta para el lanzamiento de su primer álbum ni como se titulará, mientras tanto dieron a conocer el sencillo “Choking Victim”, el cual puede descargarse de manera gratuita a través de su sitio web oficial fatns.com
